Compared with 304 stainless steel plate, the corrosion resistance of 201 material stainless steel plate is relatively weak. It is not recommended to be used in the ecological environment that is often wet and cold. It is possible to use it in relatively low temperature and dry areas and in the design and decoration industry with low quality requirements. The 304 stainless steel plate has good corrosion resistance and can often be used in relatively humid provinces or southeast coasts, such as coastal cities such as Guangdong, Fujian, and Zhejiang.
1. The 304 stainless steel plate has a good gloss and shines, and it is smooth to the touch; the 201 stainless steel plate is dark and has no gloss, and it feels rough and uneven to the touch. In addition, wet your hands with water and touch the two stainless steel materials respectively. After touching, the water-stained fingerprints on the 304 board are easier to erase, but 201 is not easy to erase.
2. Use a grinder to install the grinding wheel and lightly grind and polish the two boards or plates. When grinding, the sparks of the 201 material are longer, thicker, and more, whereas the sparks of the 304 material are shorter, thinner, and less.
3. Apply stainless steel pickling paste to the two types of stainless steel plates respectively. If the color is dark, it is 201, and if it is white or does not change color, it is 304 stainless steel plate.
